ICAO Worldwide Symposium on Enabling the Net Centric Information Environment
This global event organized by ICAO was the follow-up to the ICAO/EUROCONTROL Global Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) realized in 2006.
In this opportunity, the central matter was the need of access to qualified aeronautical information with a superior reliability to that generally available today, emphasizing specially the transition from AIS to AIM thinking in a data centric provision and management and not in services oriented to products.
For this meeting ICAO
looked for the
participation of government policy makers and regulators, AIS and other air
navigation service providers, private sector aeronautical information/data
suppliers, chief
executives, financiers and lawyers.
