ATECH and RADIOCOM announce technical cooperation alliance
Brazilian ATC systems provider ATECH (Fundação Aplicações de Tecnologías Críticas) has reached a commercial agreement with Radiocom, Inc. (USA).
Based on Radiocom's experience with the Argentinean and Paraguayan AMHS Systems, both companies have joined forces and ATECH will be able to use Radiocom, Inc. expertise and knowledge to modernize the existing ATECH AFTN system and deliver an extended service AMHS system for Brazil during 2008, thus joining the world's biggest AMHS region. In all there will be six AMHS interconnected nodes with over 1,000 User Agents in South America.
The alliance will also look to expand business for both companies, integrating AMHS functionalities into the full range of ATC products offered by the partners.
